The Boston Hack/Reduce hackathon has been a great experience both for the participating team and for us giving remote support for all the people trying out Radoop for the first time. Guiseppe Taibi has already described his experiences in a guest post and now Sheamus McGovern (another core member of the winning team) has written up a step-by-step guide on how he started using Radoop. If you are interested to read a detailed guide on Radoop with screenshots, then make sure to check out Sheamus’ post.
January is also the time for predictions for the new year and Maarten Ectors predicts easier big data tools for 2013 and mentions Radoop as one of the good commercial examples. We have also been covered by Big Data Republic’s Susan Fourtané as one of the top European big data startups.
It is a good start for 2013 in terms of news coverage and we are working hard to announce even more impressive features for Radoop in the next few months. Stay tuned and have a successful new year!
